Traveler ESCAPE MKII BASS LEFTY
Well done Traveler! It is often the case that left handed players have a greatly reduced choice of instruments so it is great to see that Traveler Guitar are extending and expanding their left handed range so widely.
Here is the left handed version of a design by the legendary John Carruthers. The
MK-II Bass features a very contemporary and fresh body complemented by an L.R.Baggs custom
Hybrid-Element active pickup system with a 2-band EQ, a built in headphone
amplifier and, like all Travelers, the ability to be plugged directly into a traditional
amplifier for live applications.
This model is enhanced with
the addition of a strap hanger extension that provides a well balanced and very comfortable playing position. A new thumb
rest is provided to enhance comfort.
The Bass weighs only 5 ¼ lbs and it is just 36 inches in overall length so there is really no excuse to leave this 32 inch full scale bass
at home ever again!
The Escape MK-II bass also comes equipped
with headphones, elegant binding, ebonized fingerboard, traditional finish and a
sturdy, custom-designed gig-bag from High Sierra.

Just like its right hand version this newly introduced lefty Ultra Light shares the basic components of the Pro-Series and offers players a full-scale guitar to take on the road when size and weight is a real issue.
This guitar features an acoustic style piezo pickup and comes with a light-weight detachable lap rest frame and a good quality tailored gig bag. We are sorry that in spite of our pestering the factory monthly it has taken a long while to get these for you left handed players. Well now they are here but in strictly limited quantity - please don't wait too long to order to avoid disappointment. Our next batch won't arrive until July or August.
You simply won't believe it! The BASSTAR plays and sounds just like a big bodied bass but weighs only 5 lbs.
