With its totally original concept and stunning looks the new style Aria Sinsonido AS-690B/FL is suitable for performance on stage and in the studio and it also makes a travelling and late night practice a pleasure (Sinsonido is the Spanish word for silence).
The mahogany body and removable frame provide comfortable playability for bassists whether seated or standing. You can even remove the frame whilst standing to create a unique looking, light weight and supremely comfortable instrument on stage. Not only that but you can use this bass wherever and whenever you like, any time of the day or night.
The Sinsonido bass features a bolt on maple neck with adjustable truss rod and a rosewood fingerboard. The special stereo condenser microphone pick-up, made by Wright Guitar Technology in the U.S. produces remarkable tones when compared to most commonly used piezo units and the guitar also features a built-in stereo preamp for headphones. The pick-up forms part of the bridge which is also height adjustable.
The secret of the natural acoustic sound lies in the innovative pick-up with its two internal condenser microphones. These sense the string vibrations in stereo and thus are able to produce the more natural, 3-dimensional sounds of a real acoustic guitar rather than a flat-sounding sound associated with many piezo pick-ups.
The 9V battery operated preamp amplifies the stereo signal without affecting the sound of the pick up and produces a clean, clear signal. The active circuitry provides plenty of punch and you will have tones from bright to a deep rumble.
