You can even attach a standard guitar strap and sling the Pignose over your shoulder.

Powered by six AA batteries (not included) or by an optional AC adapter which is easily stored inside the amplifier case.

The Classic model Smokey guitar Amp is made in the USA and is housed in a ‘smoke-free’ hard wearing translucent polycarbonate box. The durable 2 inch Mylar cone Alnico magnet loudspeaker has been specially designed by Bruce Zinky and is surprisingly loud for a 1 watt amplifier! 

Each Smokey Amp is fitted with two UK made CLIFF® jack sockets with self-cleaning corrosion resistant contacts for long term reliability. There are no controls and volume and tone adjustments are made on the guitar.

By using its output jack, the Classic Smokey Amp can also be used to power ANY 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker cabinet, including a 4 x 12! It can also be used on the input of another amp as a stand alone fuzz effect and it is ideal for home studio recording with a microphone for a real live sound at low volume levels.

The nine volt battery (included) will last for about 10 hours of continuous playing. When you need to change the battery in your Classic Smokey Amp, carefully remove the 3 screws and the 2 jack socket nuts. 

Open the case, change the battery and replace the screws and jack socket nuts. Simple!

This super, but simple, little 9V battery powered micro amp is both compact and very tough too, as it is made in a very solid casing with a cloth speaker grill covering and good quality knobs and fittings - unlike many other small amps.

The unit can also be powered from a 9V DC source via an AC adapter (not supplied).

A 3.5 mm input jack lets you input a MP3 or CD player and a separate headphone jack mutes the speaker to allow private listening while you practice.

An overdrive switch adds plenty of gain and distortion if desired and a wide range of both treble and bass can be dialled in via the tone control.
