In response to requests from the performers amongst you we asked Furch to recommend the best pickup to fit to the LJ10 "Little Jane" guitar and they said "LR Baggs Element Active System" (EAS VTC).

The EAS VTC system includes a mini volume and tone control cleverly mounted just inside the sound hole with the controls accessible to the player but almost hidden from view.

This guitar has been factory fitted with the system and it perfectly suits and enhances the character of the Furch LJ10, adds convenience and protects the integrity of the guitar structure as no holes are cut in the body to fit the electronics, controls or battery box. Neat.

It's battery powered and rechargeable (just plug it into a wall socket to recharge!). It's clean sounding, produces a loud 20 watt RMS output and has that cool Pignose look and it is a long time favourite of street musicians around the globe.

The Hog 20 can be slung over a shoulder, strapped to a bicycle, propped up by a tree, set in the beach sand, kept in a locker, left on your desk ... Better still it is designed for use with a guitar, a bass or a keyboard so versatility is built in!

The Contemporary Hofner Shorty is based on the Hofner original manufactured in the ‘80s but it is proving to be a popular choice amongst today's guitarists too and represents great value.

In addition to the HOT P90 pickup, you get stacked volume and tone controls and a 'straight through' headstock design. A fully adjustable nut, truss rod and a new and fully adjustable bridge let you set a really close action.

Add in a headphone amp with clean and high gain settings, a carry bag, strap, signal cord, earbud headphones and extension rods to help you play seated or standing and you are fully equipped to go.

The orchestra style body is beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, easy to hold and easy to play but packing a big big sound.  It features a full 25½" scale length and its 1¾" neck make this a fingerstyle player's delight but it is also great for strumming chords and rhythm work.
