Delivery and Carriage Information
Our website indicates the delivery charge to most UK addresses but please note that the cost for shipping to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and UK offshore locations is subject to a higher charge imposed by all courier companies. Please select your UK location from the list available at the checkout stage.
We only use highly reliable and tracked courier services for instrument delivery. We can usually arrange delivery to most addresses Worldwide - with a few exceptions - but this is by arrangement as shipping charges vary by destination, item weight and package size. Please telephone or email us for a rapid quote and we will arrange this at cost, providing we can verify your address and credit details. The international prices shown on this website are only indicative and depending on size and weight may be too high or too low.
International prices are for Air Express services and a very fast service is possible to most European locations with major cities often served within 24 hours. Within the EU we can sometimes arrange road delivery at lower cost but with 3-4 day delivery times.
We will always try to dispatch orders within 24 hours and when possible we dispatch same day for orders placed in the morning. Within the UK we use next day delivery courier services to reduce the time your order is in transit. In the event of any unexpected delay or problem we will contact you to let you know what is happening and reconfirm your instructions – we will need an email address and/or telephone number so we can contact you quickly, if necessary.
If you need your order to arrive on a specific day please let us know. we can usually arrange to deliver to a work address again providing we can verify your home address and credit details. We will always try to help meet your needs so please speak to us. Saturday deliveries can often be arranged but at a slightly higher cost. Please ask if you require this service.
Generally all product prices will not include postage and packaging charges unless this is clearly stated alongside the item. The correct delivery charge will be added at the checkout stage.
We will always charge postage and packing at cost and whenever possible we will always try and combine multiple items so as to reduce the overall costs of shipping. Please telephone to discuss postage charges if you wish to order multiple products, as whilst our automated systems will try, they cannot always apply common sense in the same way as a human.
Please note that we do reserve the right to cancel any order where the delivery address does not match the card holder address. However, if you have such a need then please telephone us to discuss your requirements first and we will always try our very best to help you.
Packaging used by us may be a mixture of new and reused. Reuse of some perfectly good packaging in this way not only helps keep down our prices and costs but reduces unnecessary waste and manufacturing. We hope you will understand why we do this where we can.
Smaller items will generally be dispatched by Royal Mail but we may also use Parcel Force or special courier at our discretion. Most items will require a signature for receipt.
Large and bulky items will be dispatched by a specialist courier and will always require a signature on receipt.
Goods will not be left without a signature. If no one is available to receive the goods, the delivery company will leave a card to advise you how to pick-up the item or to arrange redelivery. You, the customer will be responsible for re-arranging delivery with the courier company and also for any additional costs arising from failed delivery attempts.
We can arrange delivery to most mainland UK locations. Delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Scottish islands and some remote parts of Scotland will attract a higher delivery charge from our couriers. Please do double check with us if you are any doubt.
We will be pleased to discuss shipping any item within the European Union (EC/EEC) and we will obtain international postal quotes based on destination, parcel size and weight providing we can confirm card holder identity and delivery address.
All Items:
We will not deliver to P.O. box numbers, hotels or student accommodation. UK forces personnel should check with us before ordering so we can organise the most appropriate delivery arrangements for you.
We will use tracked delivery services whenever possible so do please give us your email address and a telephone number so that we can provide the relevant tracking numbers and contact you in case of any problem.
We respect your privacy and we will not disclose any information to any third party other than that necessary to fulfil your order with us (please note that most delivery companies request a contact telephone number as a condition of carriage).
