We are a specialist, with many customers all over the UK, Europe and throughout the world. We know that our customers don't always keep regular business hours so with customers in many time zones we try to be flexible and adaptable too.
Our website operates 24 x 7 so you can order when you want. We work flexible office hours so email us or telephone if you need any help or advice.
We are not a shop - in the traditional sense - but we are available to welcome you to our showroom facilities most weekdays and by arrangement at weekends. Please phone before travelling as we will want to make sure the products that interest you are available to try and so that we can focus on you and your needs.

We Have Relocated !
We have recently moved to new larger premises which allow us to introduce more products and services, expand our display and demo area and offer easy access for visitors.
We are now based in Hove, a few minutes from Brighton town centre and the sea front but with very easy car access from the M23/A23 and A27. We are served by local bus services and the nearest train station is just a five minute walk and with free parking for those coming by car.
We are about an hour from London or Heathrow by car or train and only 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport too.

We like to meet and speak with our customers so we can best handle questions, enquiries or purchases personally. You may also email us or simply order via this website if you prefer these methods. We deal with many email enquiries every day and we try to respond within an hour or two so don't hesitate.

We also welcome all your calls and enquiries but if we can't take your call for any reason please leave us a message. We will return your call or text message just as soon as we possibly can. You can also Skype us too (we are "playawayguitars") and save money on those international phone calls.
Purchase online or by telephone or in-person. Our preferred secure on-line card processing services are provided by SagePay but we can also handle Google Checkout accounts if requested. We are equally happy to take credit card and debit card payments over the phone and we can also discuss any special needs or delivery requirements you may have. For those who prefer to use PayPal we can arrange to email you a PayPal e-Invoice which you can then pay on-line with your PayPal account.
We are happy to reserve or hold goods by telephone and of course we will accept cheques as a deposit or for full payment if you prefer. If you would like to pay a holding deposit for any guitar then we are very happy to keep any item for you for as long as necessary. You can also transfer payments direct to our bank if you prefer this method.
Whilst we try to keep most models and colours in stock sometimes we won't have a specific colour or spec here. If so, just let us know and we will be pleased to order it in specially for you. This generally takes just a few days, please enquire.
If you would like us to consider a trade-in or part exchange then we will try to help. We always try to buy back a guitar that we sold, for a fair price, so if you no longer need your instrument, let us know.
We don't offer credit facilities but we have helped many customers by holding an item and accepting payment in stages.
As you can imagine we sell many of our guitars and products online and by mail order but we maintain a showroom for customers that prefer try out a particular guitar or play a number of models before deciding. We don't operate traditional shop hours so please telephone before travelling and we will be happy to arrange a mutually convenient time to welcome you. We can't keep examples of all our products at the showroom but we will happily arrange for a specific model to be brought from stock if we know you are coming.
We are very easy to find by car, just a few minutes off the A23 and A27 and parking is never a problem and there is no need to enter the town centre. However, we are just 5 minutes from Brighton Town Centre and Sea Front if you fancy a day out in this amazing town or go on to explore the new South Downs National Park.
No car? No problem. Take a Southern Railways train direct from London, Gatwick or Brighton to the north or from Portsmouth to the west. The nearest station to us is Portslade, which is a 5 minute walk away and just 4 minutes from Brighton or Hove stations by train and only an hour from London Victoria or London Bridge stations. Local buses stop right outside too.
