Contacting Play Away Guitars

As a specialist, with customers all over the UK, Europe and most parts of the world, we have learnt that our customers don't always keep regular hours. With customers living and working in many time zones we have learnt to be flexible and adaptable too.

Whilst our website operates 24 hours 7 days each week you can also speak to a human during weekdays between 10.00 and 16.30 (UK time) but we are often here earlier and later than that too - so just give us a ring by phone or on Skype. We are frequently available at weekends too so you are welcome to phone and try us. If you want to come and try a guitar or two - no problem - just phone to arrange the day and time and we will do our best to accomodate you.

We deal with many email enquiries every day too - so don't hesitate.

We welcome all your calls and enquiries but if we are not here or cannot take your call for any reason just leave us a message or send us an email. We will always return your call or reply to your email or text just as soon as we possibly can. Don't forget you can Skype us too and save money on those long distance and oveseas phone calls.

You may purchase online, using the secure Google Checkout system or if you prefer we are very happy to take credit card and debit card payments over the phone and we can also discuss any special needs or delivery requirements you may have. For those who prefer to use PayPal we can arrange to email you a PayPal e-Invoice which you can pay on-line, in the usual way, from your PayPal account.

We are always happy to reserve goods by telephone and of course we will accept cheques as a deposit or for full payment if you prefer. If you would like to pay a holding deposit for any guitar then we are very happy to keep any item for you for as long as necessary. You can also transfer payments direct to our bank if you prefer this method.

If you would like us to consider a part exchange then let us know, we will always try to help. We will always try to buy back a guitar that we sold, for a fair price. So if you no longer need your instrument, let us know.

Whilst quite a lot of our guitars are sold online or by mail order we do understand that this does not suit everyone and that you may wish to try out a particular guitar or play a number of models before deciding. We can usually arrange this at our showroom but to avoid disappointment please telephone before travelling and we will be happy to try and arrange a mutually convenient time to welcome you. We can't keep examples of all our products at the showroom but we will happily arrange for a specific model to be brought from our secure stock facility when we know you are coming.

We are very easy to find by car and parking is never a problem.

No car? No problem, come by train direct from London, Brighton or Gatwick. The nearest stations are either Glynde (for Glyndebourne) or the County Town of Lewes. If you come by train and we will pick you up and drop you back at Glynde or Lewes station, whichever is faster and easier for you. Make a day of it and explore Lewes, Brighton or the South Downs and South Coast while you are here.

Direct train services to Lewes take just over an hour from London Victoria and about 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport. Alternatively, Lewes is only just over 10 minutes by train from either Brighton or Eastbourne so you can easily spend the day and enjoy the buzz in Brighton or relaxation in Eastbourne. Or stay in Lewes and visit the Castle and many great antique shops.
