Contacting Play Away Guitars

Our hours of business can sometimes vary when we are setting up or exhibiting at a show or event but we try to man the office and showroom, typically between 10.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday and by arrangement most Weekends. Please phone us if you can only get to us during a weekend or early evening during the week and we will do our best to arrange a convenient time to meet you.

We welcome all your calls and enquiries but if we are not here for any reason just leave us a phone message at the office or on the mobile or even send us an email. We will always return your call or reply to your email or text just as soon as we possibly can. Don't forget you can use Skype too to save on those long distance and oveseas phone calls.

You may purchase online, using the secure Google Checkout system or if you prefer we are very happy to take credit card payments over the phone and we can also discuss any special needs or delivery requirements you may have. For those who prefer to use PayPal we can arrange to email you a PayPal e-Invoice which you can pay on-line in the usual way from your account.

We are always happy to reserve goods by telephone and of course we will accept cheques as a deposit or for full payment if you prefer. If you would like to pay a holding deposit for any guitar then we are very happy to keep any item for you for as long as necessary.

If you would like us to consider a part exchange then let us know, we will always try to help. We will always buy back a guitar that we sold for a fair price. So if you no longer need your instrument, let us know.

Whilst quite a lot of our guitars are sold online or by mail order we do understand that this does not suit everyone and that you may wish to try out a particular guitar or play a number of models before deciding. We can usually arrange this at our showroom but to avoid disappointment please telephone before travelling and we will be happy to try and arrange a mutually convenient time to welcome you. We can't keep examples of all our products at the showroom but we will happily arrange for a specific model to be brought from our secure stock facility when we know you are coming.

We are very easy to find by car and parking is never a problem.

No car? No problem! The nearest station is Glynde (Glyndebourne) so come by train and we will pick you up and drop you back at Glynde or Lewes station, whichever is faster and easier for you.

Direct train services to Lewes take just over an hour from London Victoria and about 20 minutes from Gatwick. Alternatively, Lewes is only just over 10 minutes by train from either Brighton or Eastbourne. Click here for a Southern Railways routemap.
